Simone “Sim” McKay

I am a poet, a children’s book writer, and a freelance digital artist.

I started writing poetry at a very young age and has over a hundred poems in my collection. I also write short stories in my free time and hopes to publish them all one day. My parents are marine biologists and they often travel, taking young Sim with them. These travels inspired me to learn about nature, people, and places. When not busy with projects, I spend my time free-diving and underwater photography. My job as a freelance digital artist has introduced me to several industries such as publishing, digital marketing, television, and even fashion. Simone McKay’s Adventure is a project that is 5 years in the making. I want to document all my journeys, adventures, and ideas in this blog, and to interact with others as well.
